A polyester tie is easy to clean. Make lukewarm soapy water with detergent intended for delicate laundry. Wash the necktie by hand and rinse it clean. Let the tie dry outdoors by hanging it by the tail of the tie (narrowest part of the tie). If you want to iron your tie afterwards, you can do so on the lowest setting of your iron.
